EIM-01 External Input Module for AC Power Sources/Frequency Converters

 

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The EIM-01 external input module is used to safely isolate and input an external drive signal into the MAC-01, -02 or -03 AC Power Sources/Frequency Converters. The unit can accept various waveforms from laboratory or programmable oscillators or from a Titan MOS-01, -01A, -01B when used as a slave unit in multi-KVA systems. BNC input is completely isolated and floating with 1,500VAC breakdown and excellent common mode rejection. A recessed ± 8% gain adjustment control is also provided. The EIM-01 must be factory installed.

 EIM-01 Specifications (typical):

INPUT LEVEL: 1.1 Vrms (45 HZ to 15 KHZ) or .9 Vrms (15 KHZ to 20 KHZ) for full rated output from mainframe. Do no overdrive.

INPUT IMPEDANCE: 33K ohms, AC coupled.

INPUT ISOLATION: 1,500VAC with greater then 90 db common mode rejection via chassis isolated, female, BNC connector.

FREQUENCY RESPONSE: 45 HZ to 20 KHZ ± .1db

DISTORTION: less than .2% THD

OUTPUT NOISE: 82 db below full rated 1.1 Vrms

GAIN STABILITY: ± .2% (TA = 25° C to 50° C)

FINISH: Aluminum panel is high-durability satin beige with black lettering.
